Jessica is the Proud Mother of Two Amazing Children
Both of Jessica’s children have been educated in Hastings Public Schools. Her daughter, a 2022 Hastings High School graduate, recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana and is now working with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources conducting mussel research.
Her son is entering his senior year at Hastings High School and is exploring a future in the skilled trades. He is taking advantage of the career and technical education courses, and gaining hands-on experience while exploring the opportunities available to him after high school.
As a parent of two children whose interests and paths after high school look very different, Jessica is grateful that Hastings Public Schools works to prepare every student with the knowledge, skills, experiences, and opportunities they need to pursue the future that is right for them.
A Longstanding Commitment to the Hastings Community
Jessica’s service to the Hastings Community began long before she was elected to the School Board.
While raising her children, Jessica made community service a priority. For nearly two decades, she has been actively involved in Hastings schools and the broader community, volunteering her time and leadership to support students, families, and local organizations.
